Swimming Equipment

I can just hear some of you thinking, "this'll be a short section." After all, swimmers do their sport practically nude. They have no shoes, helmets, pads, or other items to worry about during their events so all we'll need is a short description of the suits and we'll be done, right? You couldn't be more mistaken.

Swimmers on the whole depend upon a significant amount of support equipment that never makes it into the pool with them. Some equipment they use in the pool but you cannot see because it's invisible, and some equipment is so small that you hardy take notice. Other items are obvious. Without our swimsuits we would truly be naked and the goggles and caps that many swimmers use are easy to spot. So what makes a good swimsuit or a good set of goggles?
